I have been so heavy into stretching my legs that I often overlook my upper body. Unfortunate for my upper body, because though I may have an average build, I still have excessive tightness and soreness in the upper back and neck area. I believe that my injury came from lack of stretching. So, my focus today, instead of heavy training, I took 15 minutes just to loosen up.
My primary areas were back, biceps and shoulders with mild attention paid to my chest and triceps. Great session, I felt extra good about my stretches because I warmed up ahead of time for 10 minutes on the treadmill. Let's reconnect tomorrow, as I'll be doing some isometric training to help build for my next big run in 2 days! 100 pull ups in as quick a time as possible.

I've always been intrigued by the number 100 since it is incorporated in anything that is complete (i.e. 100%) or perfect. Completing 100 pull-ups without rest has been an unfulfilled goal of mine and I feel the best way to do this is to attack it like a rabid pitbull. Let's do this in 100 days!

Day 14: Stretch and rest
I guess the title can be misleading, considering that I worked out anyways. My workout primarily focused on pushes, but no pulls. I kept my workout below 1 hour and took an additional 15 minutes to loosen up my back, biceps and shoulder area. It felt great to take a day away from my pull ups and I anticipate some growth in my pull ups tomorrow.
I'll see you then!
